Cracked Voices

December 20, 08

You promised egg shell pieces,
That you'd read these words,
Glue together my potent misery,
And create a healthy new picture.

You promised a human knight,
You'd paint me the newly lit sky,
Illuminate my ever dimming sight,
And trace fairy dust on my hand.

But most of all, you promised to hold,
Love and cherish, till death do part,
You took my hand and vows with it,
But forgot to listen to my own words.

Heartache. But beautifully painted.

If only you would not stop anticipating, it becomes easy to wait. Or maybe hard. Take your pick.

Waiting is never easy, and anticipation never helps; but waiting means hope. I guess that is what we delude ourselves with.

Thank you, =)

We don't delude ourselves. Delusions are for those who are not resolute enough.

I never said its easy. Its just fun to do. Totally. Even if you don't know whether what you are waiting for will get to you. It still is fun.

I'd disagree, I'd say delusions are a bit of everything...They are what you term to be your reality; and truly everyone's reality is different I learn. To be resolute is to be sure of your delusions and abide by them.
'Fun' wouldn't be my word of choice, I think. Hah, but I'm still young and impatient yet perhaps. What I wait for I will wait and distract myself with the mean time and between time, for it's purposes it will be entertaining enough I suppose.
