Fake tears upon plastic flowers,
A trail of various saturation's
Blending into one vibrant strand,
Tangled within itself churning-
The emotions around weepers.
Despair fill the cornucopia's
With poisoned fruits and vice,
Surrounded and filled again-
The repressed begin to cave.
Sunrise eyes within sketches,
A breaking dawn enslaved
In pupil shackles that it loves,
Tender hurt healing into scars,
That it will hold forever more.
Hope freshens the sowing fields
With flowers and spring rains,
Clear skies with hinting horizons-
Pink clouds exploding purple.

In Greek mythology, Elpis (Ancient Greek: ἐλπίς) was the personification of hope, perhaps a child of Nyx and mother of Pheme, the goddess of rumor. She was depicted as a young woman, usually carrying flowers or cornucopia in her hands.
